Conditions of service, promotion, seniority, pension and disciplinary proceedings for public servants and employees of statutory bodies.
Service law governs the relationship between an employee and the State or a statutory employer: how a person is recruited, what their conditions of service are, how they are promoted or passed over, how they are disciplined, and what they are owed on retirement. The firm acts for employees in each of these, and appears in the forums where such disputes are decided.
Most matters begin before the Central Administrative Tribunal or the departmental authority and reach the Delhi High Court on writ, and the Supreme Court of India on appeal. We conduct the matter through all of them, so that the record made at the first hearing is the record argued on appeal.
A first conference establishes what the dispute is, what the record shows and what remedy is open. Nothing on this page is legal advice.
