How payments made through www.kbjandco.com are handled, and the basis on which they may be refunded.
This site accepts payment of professional fees and of outlay incurred on a client's behalf, against an invoice or a reference given by this office. It is not a shop and nothing is sold through it.
Payments are processed by Razorpay on their own hosted checkout. Card, UPI and bank details are entered there and never reach this site. We record the amount, the payer's name, email address and telephone number, any reference given, and the identifiers Razorpay issues for the order and the payment.
A receipt is emailed to the address given at checkout as soon as the payment settles. If you do not receive one, write to advocate@kbjandco.com with the payment identifier shown on screen.
TO CONFIRM — this is the firm's commercial policy and cannot be drafted from the code. Razorpay requires a stated refund and cancellation policy on the merchant's site, so this section must be settled before it is published. It should say at least: whether fees once paid are refundable and on what basis; how a payment made in error or twice is dealt with; how long a refund takes to reach the payer; and who to contact.
Where a refund is due, it is made to the same instrument the payment came from. We cannot refund to a different card or account.
